This project includes ethernet distribution, high definition TV signal
distribution, intercom, telecom, three surround packages, numerous plasma
and LCD displays, whole house sound, exterior sound, with complete
automation control. Heating, Air Conditioning, Security Alarm,
Lighting, Audio, Video Distribution and Security Cameras can all be
controlled from the various touch panel locations throughout the home. |

It takes a lot of wire to make a large system work. It
takes a lot of talent to organize the wire so that you can easily service
the system in the future. |

The main equipment rack houses the majority of the
components that make the system operational. The rack is located in
the master bedroom closet and slides out on a Middle Atlantic AXIS track for
easy servicing. |

The Great Room plasma slides back when not in use but
cantilevers out to the desired viewing angle. The Great Room features
a 50" 1080p plasma with surround audio package and Crestron control. |

The home features a gigabit computer network with Dell
server, wired and wireless access. A Panasonic digital hybrid system
is used for intercom and telecom functions. |

Elan 6.4" touch panels provide complete control of lighting,
security, HVAC and whole house audio systems. The touch panel doubles
as a video monitor for the security cameras. Should someone ring the
door bell all touch panels immediately flip to the image of the door camera
where the bell ring was initiated. |

The outdoor patio TV along with the back yard audio and
lighting are all controlled from the touch panel mounted to the left of the
door set. |
