The Shure 565SD is a dynamic, cardioid patterned, handheld vocal microphone that is ideal for almost any audio pickup application.  The microphone features a satin chrome finish with an integral steel mesh over foam wind screen.  The 565SD has a silent audio mute switch.  The microphone is a balanced low impedance device that uses the standard three pin XLR type connector.  The microphone is furnished under state contract with a microphone cable.  The cable can be ordered in standard three pin XLR to XLR or XLR to 1/4" phone plug configuration.  The standard cable enables use of the microphone with most audio mixers whereas the XLR to 1/4" cable can be used with most consumer type tape recorders or DJ mixers.  The microphone is provided with a microphone clip that can be attached to any standard microphone stand.  Logical accessory items for the Shure 565SD microphone include the Atlas MS10 microphone stand.  An Atlas PB15 boom arm is ideal for using the microphone at podiums or pianos.   Microphone cables are available in 10, 15, 25, 50 and 100 foot lengths.
